Supervise and manage all Dietitians, Diet Technicians and Diet Clerks to assure adherence to corporate policies and procedures. Oversee the evaluation, assessment and planning of resident’s or participants nutritional status. Oversee the staffing functions of the diet office.
Maintain adequate follow up for High Nutritional Risk residents/participants.
Participate actively on regional health care teams to provide observation and assessment regarding physical, mental, nutritional and psychosocial status of residents. Assure nutrition care plan is integrated into the interdisciplinary care plan.
Provide diet counseling to residents, resident families, friends and staff regarding dietary restrictions.
