The Dietetic Technician is responsible for resident and participant nutrition care planning, implementation and evaluation under the supervision and guidance of the Registered Dietitian. The Dietetic Technician is a contributing member of the interdisciplinary team in establishing and implementing the interdisciplinary care plan. Complies with all corporate policies and procedures, and adheres to federal, state and other sanitation guidelines. Accurately completes nutrition assessments, assists Dietitian in assessment of weight loss/gain of residents. Completes required documentation. Coordinates resident's and participant’s meal selection in accordance with personal preference and diet regimes.
