  • Overview

    This position is responsible for the coordination of marketing and admissions into our housing communities. Responsibilities include referral intake, cold calling, marketing and presentations to the community and professional referral sources, relationship building, touring prospective residents and their families and follow through of all medical and financial documentation. The position requires excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and an enthusiastic and flexible attitude. The ideal candidate must have strong public relations skills as outreach to community services agencies is required. Previous experience in health care recommended.


    • Provide guided tours of the community, scheduled and unscheduled, to prospective residents and their families and secure sales.
    •  Pursue referral sources by coordinating marketing activities, in-services, presentations, distributing marketing information, developing relationships. 
    • Gather all medical and financial information as needed for admission.
    • Ensure all forms are complete, accurate and all information is provided. 
    • Develop and implement a facility marketing plan.
    • Obtain and generate leads.


    • 2-4 year College Education is required. 
    • Previous marketing experience, preferably within a retirement community. 
    • Previous sales experience, preferably working with seniors. Medical or social work experience preferred.  
    • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. 
    • Ability to travel in the local area as needed.  
    • Ability to close a sale. 
    • Computer competency in MS office suite or equal. 
    • Excellent written communication, public speaking and organizational skills. 
    • Strong customer service/interpersonal skills. Proven multi-tasking capabilities.
