  • Overview

    Provide general clerical/data entry support for assigned department. Maintain adequate inventory level of office supplies.  Perform filing, record keeping, update reports (census, new admissions, participant records, participant attendance, weight logs, BP logs, etc.). Provide coverage for Receptionist/Administrative Assistant as required.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, purging, copying, distributing copies, etc. 
    • Provide coverage for Receptionist/Administrative Assistant as required.  
    • Assist in setting up participant charts and documentation such as MD orders, nursing visits, therapy attendance, etc as requested.
    • Attend and provide secretarial support for variety of meetings (Scheduling, minute taking, minute distribution)
    • Collect and input data into variety of existing report formats. (24 hour nursing report data, participant attendance reports, census reports, BP Log, Weight log, admissions/discharges, etc.)

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 2 years clerical experience in similar setting
    • Typing skills of 45 wpm minimum
    • Working knowledge of medical terminology
    • Familiarity with office equipment
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Computer competency in MS Office Suite or equivalent
    • Capable of approval from DOH Criminal History Records Check process
