Distributes all food and non-food items by site/area to ensure safe and prompt service of all food and non-food items
Utilizing daily distribution sheets, check in all ingredients &/or prepared foods and non-food items required for scheduled deliveries and pick-ups, to assure all items are accurate and available. Assembles all items needed in order to meet daily meal needs. Checks all items produced in production areas prior to distributing to ensure food is properly panned, sealed, and dates are visible and accurate. Rotates all inventory daily in each responsible area ensuring that items are stored chronologically (items stored first are dispatched first). Maintains area in a clean and sanitary fashion. Plates up all food items as needed, both hot and cold. Must be able to read and understand special diets, and be able to serve the correct foods to residents, per production sheets, meal tickets, etc.
HS diploma and/or GED.
